Just ordered this board for use with my STP-58D2017 Steppers.

My choice was based on recommendations from folks on CNCZone.com.

The low cost, easy build, and not needing separate breakouts boards and driver boards were the primary reasons.

That, and built in the USA.

I'll update when it arrives and as I progress with this project.

I have been using Dave's board for about three years now. I have never had any problems with his board, only my learning curve. : ) He provides a private site to answer any and all questions regarding service and or problems with any of his products. I give Dave a "10". Not financially supported, just a happy customer.........

I have several of Daves driver boards in use and like them. All are used along with Mach3.
I find no mention of using a breakout board between the driver boards and the computer..even though the manual on Mach 3 recommends one.It looks like the motor driver boards connection to the PP contains its own regulated 5 volts and pullup resistors. I added small capacitors to the limit and homing connector terminals and ground right at the terminals to bypass any stray voltages picked up through the air and hope that if no other device like the spindle etc are connected via relays etc a BOB is just an added expense. Comments are desired.

I have been using HobbyCNC products for many years. Dave has designed a superb product that is unavailable for any where near the price anywhere else. I am currently looking to build a larger format (48″ plus) laser cutter for my RC plane kit business and you can be sure that Dave’s products will figure into it substantially.

Thanks, Dave!

Hi I purchase from you HobbyCNC PRO 4 axis kit last year and this year I purchase 4 steppermotor 305OZ. Everything is running fine but slow and it's probable to do with settings in Turbo cnc. I relly want to join the group on Yahoo.

Thanks for great product.
